Our Town by Thornton Wilder

I enjoyed reading this play. It’s calm, insightful, more about life than about the characters or the plot – my kind of story. The role of the stage manager is unique and interesting. I don’t have much else to say; I’d like to see it performed sometime.
(I decided to read Our Town after reading two different stories that referenced it heavily: Tom Lake by Ann Patchett and one of the short stories in John Langan’s The Wide, Carnivorous Sky and Other Monstrous Geographies. I don’t recall which one.)
