Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens

Another great book from Dickens. I enjoyed his typical extreme characters and his funny, sarcastic criticisms of those who are charged with taking care of the poor. I wonder what he’d write about our modern society – we’re still struggling to lift people out of poverty instead of criminalizing them.
